It looks like MiCA is starting to have a real impact on crypto users.
In some EU countries, the Binance app has started disappearing from Google Play. The first reports came from users in Spain, where the app is no longer visible in search results, although it can still be downloaded through alternative app stores. In Poland, Binance remains available for now.
The main question is: could the App Store be next?
There have been no official comments from Apple or Binance so far. However, if the issue is indeed linked to MiCA requirements and crypto companies’ licensing obligations in the EU, similar restrictions could potentially affect the App Store in some countries as well.
For now, this does not mean that Binance is being banned across Europe. The situation is more likely related to localized restrictions while the exchange continues adapting its services to the new regulatory environment.
