The investigation covers major market operators including STS, Fortuna, Superbet, Fuksiarz (Bukmacherska), E-toto, LV Bet, and Totalbet. UOKiK is deploying dedicated AI tools to detect interface tricks across websites and mobile applications.

- Account closure friction: Suspending or closing an account involves multiple complex steps, while reactivating gambling remains friction-free.
- Interface dark patterns: Platform layouts and push notifications trick users into betting more frequently.
