The Philippine gaming regulator and casino operator PAGCOR booked $1.01 billion in revenue for January–September 2026, 23.4% less than in the same months of 2025.
Net profit fell 84.9%, to $34.18 million. The main driver was a slump in the online gambling segment. Profit dropped much faster than revenue: 84.9% against 23.4%.
In August, PAGCOR forecast that full-year revenue would fall 18%, to $1.36 billion. The regulator expects the busy season at the end of the year to offset part of the losses.
PAGCOR also reported first-half results earlier. Revenue for January–June fell 26.6%, according to the regulator. Electronic games, including eGames and eBingo, accounted for most of the decline. The nine-month drop of 23.4% was milder than the six-month drop of 26.6%.
If the August forecast holds, annual revenue will reach $1.36 billion, 18% below last year. PAGCOR has taken in $1.01 billion over nine months, and the end of the year must close the gap to the full-year target.
