Kazakhstan Sentences Two Organizers of Bingo-37 and Lotoboom Online Casinos to Four Years

Two organizers of the illegal online casinos Bingo-37 and Lotoboom in Shymkent were sentenced to four years in prison each. The platforms' total turnover was 3.1 billion tenge. The verdict has not yet entered into force. Kazakhstan's Agency for Financial Monitoring (AFM) announced this on October 9, 2026 in its official Telegram channel.

Players received invitations on WhatsApp. After a player responded, the organizers created an account and gave them a login, a password and bank details for transferring money. Deposits were accepted and winnings paid out through bank accounts registered in the names of 14 droppers.

With the criminal proceeds, the organizers bought property worth more than 200 million tenge: BYD Destroyer, LiXiang L6 Max, Chevrolet Monza and SsangYong Rexton cars, and two plots of land. By court decision, all of it was confiscated and turned over to the state.

The case went to court in July. According to Kazinform, citing the AFM department in Shymkent, the casinos operated from January 2023 to November 2025, and the defendants were under house arrest. The AFM did not disclose the convicts' names or the date of the verdict.
