Asia Pioneer Entertainment (APE) is expanding overseas and pursuing supplier licences for electronic gaming equipment in Japan, Singapore and the UAE.
In Japan, the Macau-based supplier is seeking approval ahead of the country’s planned integrated resort openings, which would allow it to supply gaming equipment to casinos. In Singapore, APE is working with manufacturing partners to obtain the required product licences.
The company has already submitted its UAE supplier application and expects a response in the second half of 2026.
Macau remains the core market
Despite the overseas push, APE remains heavily dependent on Macau.
The company generated HK$33.94 million ($4.35 million) in first-half 2026 revenue. Macau accounted for HK$33.34 million ($4.27 million), or around 98% of the total.
Overall revenue increased 47.3% year on year to HK$33.94 million ($4.35 million), while profit and total comprehensive income reached HK$2.3 million ($295,000), compared with HK$24,959 ($3,200) a year earlier.
Electronic gaming equipment sales and distribution remained the main growth driver, with revenue from the segment rising 56.2% to HK$30.1 million ($3.86 million).
APE expects additional new and replacement orders from Macau casino operators during the second half of 2026 while its licence applications in Japan, Singapore and the UAE remain under review.
The company is also looking to expand beyond equipment distribution into casino operations and gaming floor management solutions.
APE’s overseas expansion therefore remains at the licensing stage. Macau continues to provide almost all of its revenue, while Japan, Singapore and the UAE represent potential new markets for the gaming equipment supplier.
