Meta Updates Creator Assistant: It Now Sends Trend Alerts and Helps With Comments

Meta has updated Creator Assistant, its AI assistant for creators on Facebook. It now monitors the account and reports events on its own, rather than only answering questions. Announcements about the update appeared in early November 2026.

Notifications are on by default. The assistant flags a post that is picking up views, growth in followers, and a topic in the creator's niche that is starting to gain traction. They can be turned off at any time.

For content, the assistant can take an idea and build a structured plan around it. Creators can also upload a draft post and get feedback before it goes live. The assistant finds comments worth replying to and suggests drafts in the creator's own style. Creators decide whether to edit and publish the replies.

It now also works in the web version of Creator Dashboard. Previously it was available only in the mobile app.

Creator Assistant launched in June 2026 as a personal partner with access to account data. It first rolled out to creators in the US, Canada and India. Meta said the assistant would arrive in other countries in the coming months.

According to Meta, the update exists because creators often did not know what to ask the assistant and did not have time to act on analytics. Now the assistant surfaces what needs attention.

For media buyers, the scope matters. Meta's help material describes the assistant as a tool for questions about the creative experience on Facebook. None of the descriptions of the update links it to buying traffic or ad campaigns, so it is a tool for working with organic reach.
