Mellstroy may be facing serious trouble with law enforcement. Today, September 30, a video featuring Andrey Burim, better known as Mellstroy, appeared on social media. In the recording, the streamer looks visibly frightened and says he is facing serious problems.
According to Burim, police officers and Interpol representatives came to him. He claims their actions are connected to a request from Kazakhstan.
The video was soon deleted from his account, but users managed to save the recording and began widely sharing it across social media and Telegram. (Subscribe to our Telegram channel; we’ll keep you updated on the latest developments.)

At the time of publication, there has been no official confirmation that Mellstroy has been arrested. Therefore, it is too early to claim that the streamer has been detained by Interpol or that extradition proceedings to Kazakhstan have begun.
However, the situation did not come out of nowhere. Kazakhstan has indeed placed Burim on an international wanted list, and a criminal investigation has been opened against him.
Why Is Kazakhstan Searching for Mellstroy?
In November 2025, Kazakhstan's Agency for Financial Monitoring announced that Andrey Burim had been placed on an international wanted list. A court authorized his detention as a preventive measure.
According to Kazakh investigators, Burim organized a large-scale advertising campaign promoting the online casino Mellstroy.game, targeting users including those in Kazakhstan.
The agency says Mellstroy's social media audience was used to promote the casino. This allegedly included contests and challenges encouraging users to create videos for TikTok, YouTube Shorts and other platforms featuring references to Mellstroy.game, its logo and links to the website.
In other words, Kazakhstan's allegations go beyond simply advertising gambling. Authorities accuse Burim of being involved in the organization and promotion of illegal gambling activity.
22 Companies and More Than 3.6 Billion Tenge
Kazakhstan's financial monitoring agency has also provided details about financial transactions allegedly connected to the online casino network.
According to the agency, 22 shell companies were registered as part of the scheme, while POS terminals and electronic payment instruments were allegedly used to process transactions.
The agency claims that more than 3.6 billion tenge was received from players through these channels.
A separate case involves Kazakh citizen Ilyar Yusupov, whom the agency accuses of assisting in the organization of an illegal online casino operation. According to the authorities, he participated in creating and managing the network between 2024 and 2025, with Mellstroy.game among the resources involved.
Kazakh authorities primarily link Mellstroy himself to the promotion of the platform and the large-scale advertising campaign surrounding it.
How Did Mellstroy End Up on an International Wanted List?
On November 15, 2025, Kazakhstan registered a wanted case against Burim. By November 16–17, Kazakh media reported that the blogger had been placed on an international wanted list.
The Agency for Financial Monitoring also said that a court had authorized Burim's detention. At the time, the streamer was outside Kazakhstan.
In December 2025, Burim himself told his audience that he was wanted internationally at Kazakhstan's request.
Now, almost a year later, a new video has surfaced in which he claims the situation has escalated.
Was Mellstroy Actually Detained by Interpol?
There is an important distinction here.
The phrase "Interpol arrested someone" is often used online, but it is not technically accurate.
INTERPOL is not a global police force and does not send its own officers around the world to arrest people.
For example, an INTERPOL Red Notice is an international alert requesting that law enforcement agencies locate a person and, where appropriate under national law, provisionally arrest them pending extradition or a similar legal process.
A Red Notice is not an international arrest warrant. Any decision to detain someone is made by the law enforcement authorities of the country where the person is located, under that country's laws.
Therefore, if Mellstroy's statement about "police and Interpol" is accurate, it could refer to local law enforcement acting on an international request rather than INTERPOL officers personally having the authority to arrest him.
There is still no official information confirming where Burim is currently located, whether he has actually been detained, or what legal measures are being taken against him.
This Is Not Mellstroy's First Legal Problem
The situation with Kazakhstan is far from Burim's first confrontation with law enforcement.
In 2020, during a livestream, Mellstroy assaulted a woman by hitting her head against a table. A criminal case was opened against him, and in 2021 a Moscow court sentenced him to six months of corrective labor and ordered him to compensate the victim.
Belarusian authorities also previously opened a criminal case against Burim related to the distribution of pornographic material. The case was later dropped due to insufficient evidence.
In 2024, the streamer also faced problems with law enforcement in the UAE following a confrontation at a venue in Dubai. According to media reports, after a case was opened, Burim left the country and traveled to Turkey.
Burim has also previously appeared on Russian wanted lists. His name has additionally been linked to a case concerning alleged evasion of military service in Belarus.
What Happens to Mellstroy Now?
For now, the situation is as follows: Kazakhstan has indeed placed Mellstroy on an international wanted list, a court has authorized his detention in absentia, and Kazakh investigators link the streamer to the promotion of the illegal online casino Mellstroy.game.
Today's video adds a new element to the story: Burim himself claims that police and Interpol have come for him and links the situation to Kazakhstan. The recording was subsequently deleted.
If his claims are accurate, the situation may have moved beyond simply being on an international wanted list to an actual encounter with law enforcement in the country where he is currently located.
However, there is still no official confirmation that Mellstroy has been detained or that extradition proceedings have begun.
The key question now is therefore not simply whether "Interpol arrested Mellstroy," but what exactly happened to Burim after the deleted video appeared and whether Kazakhstan has actually secured his temporary detention for a potential extradition procedure.
Digital Hustlers will continue to follow the story.
