CoinPoker Excludes Professional Players' Poker Activity From Affiliate Commissions

From November 1, 2026, CoinPoker no longer pays affiliates commissions on poker activity of players the operator itself classifies as professionals. The rule is set out in Section 8 of the affiliate program terms.

Commissions on casino and sports betting are not affected. The rule applies to all affiliates, including those working under individual agreements: Clause 18.4 keeps such agreements in place but removes this poker commission from them.

CoinPoker decides player status itself. The operator can classify players as professionals and review that category based on game statistics and other data. The published terms contain no criteria: no minimum stakes, no win rate, no volume of play.

Affiliates are prohibited from deliberately recruiting professional players and poker teams. They also may not offer extra sign-up bonuses or encourage players to open new accounts to earn additional rakeback or get around the rule.

For those working with poker communities, a player's status at sign-up is often unclear. A player who arrives through a regular referral link may later be reclassified as a professional, and their poker activity then drops out of the calculation. The terms do not explain how CoinPoker notifies an affiliate of such a reclassification or whether it can be appealed.

Clause 18.2 only says affiliates will be notified of amendments and does not specify how.

The payout schedule has not changed: under Clause 6.1, commissions for the previous period are transferred between the 10th and 15th of each month. November will be the first full month under the rule, so its commissions on the regular schedule will reach affiliates from December 10 to 15.
