Czechia Expands Online Gambling Blacklist: +33 Addresses in a Week

On 14 September 2026, the Czech Ministry of Finance published its latest update to the List of Unauthorized Internet Games — the official registry of domains, apps, and payment accounts that internet providers are required to block under the Czech Gambling Act.

The new version added 33 entries — nearly double the 17 added the week before. No entries were removed this time. The public part of the registry now totals 3,554 records, of which 3,494 remain active.

A significant share of the new additions came from a series of near-identical mirror domains belonging to a single brand — a common tactic operators of illegal casinos use to work around blocks already in place.

The list is maintained under the Czech Gambling Act (No. 186/2016 Coll.). By law, internet service providers must block access to a listed site within 15 days of its publication in the registry, or face a fine of up to CZK 1,000,000. Because of this, appearing on the list effectively means losing access for users in Czechia within weeks — not just a symbolic flag.

The full technical list of blocked addresses is available on the Ministry's website: mf.gov.cz.
